PHOTOGRAPHY FOR THE MOMENTS YOU DIDN'T PLAN FOR
The tearful hug from your grandmother. Your friends packed onto the dance floor. The quiet breath before you walk down the aisle. Documentary wedding photography that captures the story as it happens.
The more weddings I photographed, the more I realized that the moments people treasure rarely happen on a schedule. Limiting a wedding day to a set number of hours often meant making couples choose between the moments they wanted documented and the experience they wanted to have.
Your story isn't a one-size-fits-all package, and your photography experience shouldn't be either.
Some couples only want the wedding day documented. Others want to remember the entire event—the giddiness, the people who traveled to be there, the stories shared over dinner the night before, and the moments that quietly set the stage for everything to come.
So instead of traditional packages, I offer crafted experiences designed around how much of your story you want preserved without squeezing your wedding into a timeline you chose before you even knew how the day would flow.
No set hours. No watching the clock. No trying to decide a year in advance whether you'll need eight hours or ten. I'll work with you to create a timeline that covers everything that matters, allowing you to focus on being present while your story unfolds.
From the anticipation of getting ready to the energy of a packed dance floor, The Keepsake preserves the heart of your wedding day. You'll have the freedom to be fully present while every meaningful moment is thoughtfully documented as it unfolds. Full day coverage.
Some moments happen simultaneously. A tearful parent during the ceremony. Your partner taking a deep breath before seeing you for the first time. The Album captures your celebration from multiple perspectives while blending digital and film imagery for a gallery filled with depth, emotion, and nostalgia.

The Heirloom preserves your wedding as a complete story rather than a single day. From an engagement session to show off that new ring and overflowing "freshly engaged" joy, to gathering with your favorite people the night before to the final moments of the reception, every chapter is documented with intention.

Your wedding day is more like the world's most carefully planned party — months of Pinterest boards, group texts, vendor meetings, and late nights overthinking the little details that actually matter most to you.
Every little choice says something about you two. The flowers your grandmother would have loved, the drink you ordered on your first date, the song that gets everyone on the dance floor, and the people who have shaped your story long before I ever showed up with a camera.
My role isn't to pull you away from personal moments all day. It's to help you soak them in while quietly documenting the things you'll want to remember forever. The happy tears, the belly laughs, the inside jokes, the grandparent hugs, and the little moments happening five feet away that you didn't even realize someone caught.
I'll give you direction when you need it (because nobody knows what to do with their hands 100% of the time), but my approach is relaxed, interactive, and focused on helping you experience your wedding rather than perform for a camera.
While beautiful portraits are absolutely part of the day, I never want photography to become the main event. The best images happen when there's room to breathe, connect, and be fully present with the people you love most.
Your wedding should feel like a celebration first.
Kaity has this amazing ability to make you feel like you’ve known her forever. Her warm, friendly presence made me feel completely at ease, and I genuinely felt like she was more of a friend than just a photographer. She knows exactly how to capture the special moments without making you feel posed or uncomfortable. The connection we had was incredible, and it really showed in the photos.

What really stood out to me was how attentive, patient, and gentle she was, especially with our newborn. She took her time, never rushed us, and made sure every little detail was just right without ever making us feel stressed or overwhelmed.
"She made the entire experience feel natural and comfortable."
Kait is such an amazing photographer! I would recommend her a thousand times, my experience with her was amazing! I was a little nervous being in front of the camera but she was so kind and helpful. The photos she took were incredible and I would definitely book her again.

The process begins with a simple inquiry. Once I confirm availability for your date, I'll send over my wedding guide and questionnaire so I can learn more about the two of you, your plans, and what is most important to you about your photography.
After you've had a chance to explore the collections and share a little more about your vision, we'll hop on a call and talk about your wedding, your vision, and inevitably some random rabbit trail because that's usually where the good stuff happens. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know one another and make sure we are the perfect fit.
Once you've chosen your experience, I'll send over your booking portal with your contract and payment details. After everything is signed and your retainer is received, your date is officially reserved — and the fun planning begins.

Begin by inquiring through my form. I’ll confirm availability for your date and send over my wedding guide and questionnaire so I can learn more about your vision. Once you’ve reviewed the collections and completed the questionnaire, we’ll schedule a consultation call to talk through your vision and thoughtfully map out a timeline that supports your priorities.
After selecting your collection and any add-ons, you’ll receive a booking portal with your contract and invoice. Once your contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved.
I’m delighted to offer film as part of my wedding collections. Its nostalgic, timeless quality pairs beautifully with my documentary approach, adding depth and emotion to your story. Learn more about my film offerings in the Film Room.
I typically work alongside a coordinator to ensure a seamless experience. However, I’m happy to review your plans and discuss any special circumstances.
Absolutely. I’ve been photographing weddings full time for five years and have experience working in everything from full sun to near-complete darkness. With clear communication and aligned expectations, I’m comfortable navigating just about any scenario.
Absolutely. Each national park operates a little differently, and I’m more than happy to help guide you through the permitting process to ensure we’re compliant and prepared.
Wedding galleries are delivered within 6 business weeks.
During the ceremony, I will focus on key moments as well as reactions from your close loved ones in the audience. If you elected to add on a second shooter, they will capture alternate angles and meaningful moments in your ceremony.
From there we move into the bridal party portraits. This includes bridesmaids, groomsmen, and any other important personnel for your day. We will get the classic portraits alongside prompts that inspire natural interaction together.
First looks are never required, but when chosen, they offer a quiet, intimate moment together before the ceremony. I approach them with a minimally invasive presence—gently setting the scene, then stepping back so you can experience the moment naturally and without interruption.
I typically arrive 2–3 hours before the ceremony to document meaningful details—your rings, stationery, attire, venue, and getting-ready moments. This portion of the day is minimally posed, simply guided to ensure we’re using the most beautiful light and backdrops available.
I standardly stay for one hour of dancing coverage, but can add on time to stay for the send off upon request.
Most couples choose to make a grand entrance and share their first dances before dinner. After dinner, we move into toasts and cake cutting before the dance floor officially opens—then it’s time to celebrate.
After family and any additional couple’s portraits, I like to give my couples the option to join the final moments of cocktail hour. If a second shooter is added, cocktail hour will be fully documented.
I will typically take formal family portraits following the ceremony. It's important to create a shot list beforehand to ensure that all the necessary family members are included. I include a template on my final logistics questionnaire for your convenience.
